news — Skilpod wins JCI Award
On the 20th of March 2019, our very own Filip Timmermans, co-founder of Skilpod, won the JCI Award for young Limburgian entrepreneur of the year. The innovative character of our modular single-family homes was the main factor in convincing the jury. Our attention to sustainability also got us some bonus points.
Filip winning this award is more than justified. With the complete lack of affordable housing, the growing number of single parent families and the ever shrinking supply of building plots, a revolution in the building sector is long overdue.
We'll be sure to give this award a prominent place in our workshop.
