where can you build a Skilpod?

Skilpods are complete family homes, built according to all regulations. You can place them on any building plot where a permanent residence is allowed. You don't need any special permits.

We build Skilpods all over Belgium and in the South of the Netherlands. Check if your building plot is suitable with our handy checklist or contact us. Important note: the assortment for the Netherlands is different from the Belgian assortment.

We have a small amount of projects, where you can purchase a Skilpod with building plot included.

A year ago we ordered a home from skilpod, #100. Despite the pandemic, the house was built, delivered, installed and finished in less than a year. No more waiting for months for electricians, plumbers, plasterers and painters, a very handy turn-key concept. All this for a clearly agreed price, without additional costs afterwards.

Due to the challenging building plot, on a slope, there was a need for a garage / foundation that was built into the hill. Here too Skilpod gave very clear advice and took everything out of our hands. The result is a garage / storage room of 98 m² with a beautiful new-build house of 98 m² on top.

An absolute must for those who want to build carefree.

From the first visit in the factory to the installation of the house in June 2023. We had a place to go to with all our questions and were given excellent service. We don't have any remarks on the house, everything is there and nicely finished. The design is sleek, modern and above all energy efficient. Everything was taken care of and we hardly had to arrange anything ourselves. The house meets all the requirements according to the Dutch building code. Our (first) experience of living in a Skilpod is very positive. We are also very happy with the combination we have chosen (black window frames with black stone strips). The window frames are elegant and the black stone strips are only black in the dark; during the day they show shades from mid-gray to almost black. Very beautiful!

We (as lovers of real wood or laminate parquet) had some doubts about laminate flooring, but we were really pleased with it. That you deliver the interior veeeeeery white is only logical; we have already added color to a number of walls and wallpapered one wall in the master bed room (Van Gogh's almond blossom).

People who visit are also very positive, not only the 'laymen' but also the professionals. The electrician, for example, is quite impressed with the installation.

Around March 2021 we first came into contact with Skilpod, in August of the same year we were already able to move! We have been living in our skilpod for several months and have to say that it is very pleasant to live here! We have chosen skilpod because of the design, ecological aspect, 1 point of contact, fixed price and also the speed. Our entire process from submitting the planning application to moving in took only 6 months. Even if we have questions, they respond very quickly. The only drawback is that you can make very few adjustments to the homes, but that is of course the concept. In short, very satisfied customers!
