Yes, a prefab home can also be a turnkey home.

The term "turnkey" refers to a type of home that is delivered to the buyer fully finished and move-in ready. In a turnkey home, the construction company takes care of the entire construction process, including the design, construction and finishing of the home.

A prefabricated home is a type of home in which some (e.g., walls, floors, roofs) or all of the home is manufactured in a factory and then installed at the construction site. The advantage of prefabricated construction is that the construction process can be faster and more efficient.

So, a prefab home that is built and delivered by a construction company as a fully finished home, where all the buyer has to do is turn the key and move in, is a turnkey home. And that's exactly what we do at Skilpod.

what is the price of a turnkey home?

At Skilpod, we understand that transparent pricing is essential when buying a turnkey home. We strive to provide clarity on the cost of your dream home from the start. 

Whether you are interested in a property in Belgium or in the southern Netherlands, at Skilpod you can count on an all-in price with no surprises. Below you can see our offer with the corresponding prices. These are all-in prices, which means including:

1. Support for the permit request, including the survey and sounding of your plot
2. Help at every step during the building process
3. Groundworks, foundation, sewage
4. Your Skilpod, fully ready for you to move in, with flooring, kitchen, bathroom(s), painted walls and cleaned before the hand-over
5. 8 solar panels of 405 Wp
6. Connection to water supply, sewage, electricity and telecoms*
7. All necessary inspections and reports (EPB, ventilation, electricity, sewage...)

*Warning for the Netherlands: because the prices differ per region, the cost of connecting to utilities is not included in the price yet. We do of course assist you with the formalities. The BENG calculation is handled by the architect in the Netherlands.

For both Belgium and the Netherlands, our prices are adjusted regularly. Therefore, request a quote for your turnkey home from Skilpod as soon as possible.

semi-detached and detached construction possible for your turnkey home

Do you want complete freedom around your home and prefer a detached turnkey home? Then you can let yourself go completely in our offer, because all our Skilpods are available as detached homes.

Is a semi-detached turnkey home enough for you? Or do you have a plot that only allows semi-detached construction? Then be sure to always check extra to see if this is possible for your desired Skilpod. Not all our Skilpods can be built semi-detached.

Currently there are 4 Skilpods available in as semi-detached turnkey houses: Skilpod #90, Skilpod #130, Skilpod #140 and Skilpod #165.

timber frame as the foundation for your turnkey home

All of our Skilpods have wood frame construction as their base.

Wood is the only building material that is 100% natural and can replenish itself endlessly. As forests grow, they also filter CO2 from the air. All the wood used by Skilpod comes from sustainably managed forests, carries the PEFC label and meets the highest ecological, social and ethical standards....

A timber frame house is much easier to make airtight and better insulated than a brick wall. Moreover, wood also absorbs heat more easily. That means you need less energy to heat your home.

Skilpod: construction company for your turnkey home

Skilpod is a construction company that specializes in prefabricated turnkey homes. We have already built hundreds of Skilpods all over Flanders. The first Skilpods in the Southern Netherlands are now also a fact.

Your Skilpod is delivered turnkey, including floors, kitchen and bathroom(s), fully painted and polished. We also arrange connections for water, sewage, electricity, internet and all necessary inspections and reports.
